Hidden Justice and Lancaster Gate win their maidens

coombelands

Hidden Justice won his maiden at Lingfield last week by a neck and twelve lengths back to the third horse.  He was ridden by Eddie Ahern and I was delighted for his owner George Materna.  George and his wife Anne Marie purchased Hidden Justice at Deauville last year and this son of Lawman has improved each time he has run and will hopefully keep progressing when stepped up in trip. He will now have a holiday over the New Year period before being prepared for the start of the turf racing in April.

Lancaster Gate won nicely at Kempton yesterday.  He was slowly away from the stalls but had a good run around the inside rail and picked up well between horses to win going away.  This colt by Zamindar is owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah and we are all deighted with his win.  He will now have a short holiday over the New Year period before being prepared for a ten furlong handicap in April.

We had a busy pre Christmas morning on the gallops on 10th December, followed by delicious sausage rolls, mince pies, champagne and other festive goodies.  Over 100 owners and friends came to see the youngsters and shares in both our new partnerships, The Recitation and To Agori Mou partnerships were sold on the day.  Ideal Christmas presents for anyone looking for that extra special gift.  Details of our yearlings can be seen on our horses for sale section, please do ring me if you would like any further details or to arrange a visit to see the horses, 07803 088713
