Harwoods Racing Club

HARWOODS RACING CLUB is limited to 150 owners who will share the thrills of racehorse ownership with Group One winning trainer, West Sussex-based Amanda Perrett, daughter of Guy Harwood.

 

Trained at Coombelands

Amanda and Guy Harwood have selected two yearling colts from over 1000 viewed at last autumns  yearling sales. The first colt True Prince was purchased at Keeneland in America  and is by Yes It’s True out of Whenthedoveflies.  The second colt Rock Song purchased at Tattersalls in Newmarket is by Rock Of Gibraltar out of Jackie’s Opera.   

They are in training at Coombelands by Amanda for two seasons and Owners will be welcome to come and see their progress on the gallops as well as on the racecourse.  In addition we will be hosting special Harwoods Racing Club hospitality days at Coombelands during the season.

The horses have run eight times between them this year in the famous yellow, red and black silks with the distinctive “H” on the jacket and have been placed three times at Goodwood, Lingfield and Kempton. Owners badges at the racecourses will be allocated to allow everyone an opportunity to enter the paddock during the period and additional badges will be made available, where possible at a discounted rate. 

At the end of the horses' three-year-old career, they will be sold and the owners will receive a share of the prize money and sale proceeds.
