Shirocco  won 7 races, value £1,327,640, at 3 to 5, from 1 mile 3 furlongs to 1½ miles including the BMW Deutsches Derby, Hamburg, Gr.1, Gran Premio del Jockey Club, Milan, Gr.1, John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf, Belmont Park, Gr.1, Vodafone Coronation Cup, Epsom Downs, Gr.1, Prix Foy Gray D'Albion Barriere, Longchamp, Gr.2, stanjamesuk.com Jockey Club Stakes, Newmarket, Gr.2 He is the sire of the winners of 40 races, and £679,825; including Group winners Arrigo, Grand Vent, Listed winners, Jardina and Wild Coco and most recently St Leger second Brown Panther. The dam Chia Laguna won one race and has produced three winners including Wise Venture who won two races this season and is rated 90. The cross of Monsun over an Ela-Mana- Mou mare has already produced Listed race winner Brisk Breeze. He is eligible for the Racing Post yearling bonus of £10,000 if he wins a Racing Post maiden stakes next year

This colt is to be owned by the To Agori Mou partnership.Shares can be purchased for £3,795plus vat for a 1/20th share to cover the purchase price of the colt and the first years training costs.  There is a second payment due on 1st November 2012 of £2,110 plus vat to cover the second years training and running costs. All vat due on subscription fees will be reclaimed through the Racehorse Owners VAT scheme
