Coombelands Racing Stables is situated in the village of Pulborough, West Sussex.

There are 10 racecourses, which are accessible within 1 hour of Coombelands; these include Ascot, Epsom, Goodwood, Kempton Park and Sandown Park. We are indeed privileged to be at the very heart of some of the best racing in the world.

By Road:

Owners and visitors will find us within easy reach of London. There are regular trains from London Victoria to Pulborough (1hr 10mins) and for our overseas owners, we are just 45mins south of Gatwick Airport and 90mins from the Channel Tunnel.

Travelling from London (Dartford Tunnel):

Come off the M25 at junction 7/8 onto the M23. At junction 11, take the A264 towards Bognor Regis/Broadbridge Heath. On reaching Broadbridge Heath take the A264 towards Five Oaks, this road then joins the A29. Continue on this road into Pulborough. Go past Harwoods Garage on the left hand side. After 200 yards take the turning to the right by a Church into Coombelands Lane. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile and Coombelands Racing Stables will be found on the left hand side.

Travelling from Southampton:

Take the M27 towards Portsmouth. On reaching Portsmouth take the A27 towards Chichester and continue towards Fontwell. At the Fontwell roundabout take the A29 to Slindon and continue on this road passing through Bury and Coldwaltham, until reaching Pulborough. At the mini roundabout turn right and then immediately left at the second roundabout and then proceed up the hill. At the brow of the hill turn left into Coombelands Lane, passing the Church. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile and Coombelands Racing Stables will be found on the left hand side.

Travelling from Guildford:

From Guildford take the A3 towards Petersfield. At Milford take the A283 to Petworth. Continue on this road into Pulborough. When you reach Pulborough, go under a railway bridge and turn left at the first two mini roundabouts. Go up the hill and on the brow of the hill turn left opposite the Chequers Hotel. Go along the lane for just over a mile and Coombelands is on the left hand side.

Travelling from Brighton:

From Brighton take the A27 towards Worthing. At Kingston by Sea take the A283 to Washington. At the Washington roundabout continue straight over on the A283 to Storrington, continue on this road until reaching Pulborough. Proceed through the main street and on reaching a mini roundabout turn right and proceed up the hill. At the brow of the hill turn left into Coombelands Lane, passing the Church. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile and Coombelands Racing Stables will be found on the left hand side.

Travelling from Winchester:

Take the A34 South and come off at Winchester. Go around the roundabout and take the A31 towards Alton, then take the A272 towards Petersfield, by-pass Petersfield on A3 and then re-join A272 towards Midhurst. Go through Midhurst and out on the Petworth road. When you get to Petworth take the A283 to Pulborough. When you reach Pulborough, go under a railway bridge and turn left at the first two mini roundabouts. Go up the hill and on the brow of the hill turn left opposite the Chequers Hotel. Go along the lane for just over a mile and Coombelands is on the left hand side.
