Racing Post – Bloodstock World

We were pleased to see an article by Nancy Sexton in Wednesday’s Racing Post about the exciting young stallion ANODIN. Nancy spoke to Vincent Rimaud of Haras du Quesnay Stud in Deauville where Anodin has stood since 2015.

Anodin was a top-class mile performer. He won twice as a three-year old in a Group 3 at Chantilly and then the Group 1 Qatar Prix du Moulin de Longchamp. As a four-year old his best runs came in defeat, notably he was second in the Gr1 Breeders’ Cup Mile at Santa Anita and third in the Gr 1 Queen Anne stakes at Royal Ascot.

We have a two year old gelding, JOSHADAM (Anodin x Aunt Julia) who we purchased at the Guineas breeze up sale. He ran a promising race on debut at Ascot in July and there is 100% available for sale in this gelding. Purchase price – £20,000 plus vat (reclaimable) or in shares priced accordingly.

‘They’re usually very correct, good-sized horses with strength.’ – Vicent Rimaud.
