These colts were purchased as yearlings and were being prepared for the breeze-up sales by Christiano who produced Count Otto, Tinto and Populaire. Due to the sales being postponed, the colts have come to Coombelands to be prepared for their first races. They are currently in work and can be seen working up the ‘valley gallop’ in the videos below.

Kodi Kub Kodi Bear x Hint of Glas (Brown Colt – 23rd March 2018)
Kodi Bear, Timeform rating 123, was a winner of four Stakes races including the Group 2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood. He defeated 26 individual Group winners during his racing career. By Champion sire Kodiac this is his first crop, of which yearlings sold for up to 100,000 euros.
The dam was unraced and this colt is her second foal. The second dam has produced Faustina rated 109 who won three races in France including The Prix de Saint-Cyr, Listed at Maisons-Laffitte. She is the dam of Undaunted Affair rated 92 who was a winner at two years and placed 3rd in the Group 3 Cathal Ryan Mem Swordlestown Stud Sprint at Naas.

Mastercraftsman x Blush’s Gift (Chestnut Colt – 3rd April 2018)
Mastercraftsman was European Champion two-year-old winning the Group 1 National Stakes and the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes. He then went on to win the Irish 2000 Guineas and Group 1 St James’s Palace as a three-year-old. He has produced 67 Stakes winners worldwide including 14 Group 1 winners including Alpha Centauri, Kingston Hill and The Grey Gatsby.
Blush’s Gift was unraced but by top broodmare sire Cadeaux Genereux. The second dam has produced eight winners from nine runners including Rambling Rose and Rosika who were both placed at Group level. Rambling Rose is the dam of Notnowcato, winner of the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup, the Group 1 Juddmonte International Stakes and the Group 1 Coral Eclipse Stakes, he now stands at stud in Ireland.
