Lavender’s Blue runs today in the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot at 16.10. The race is for Fillies & Mares over one mile, we are pleased with her preparation, she goes well fresh and will be be ridden by Robert Havlin who won on her when she made her racecourse debut at the Rowley Mile.
Her dam, Beatrice Aurore finished fifth in the same race, formally known as the Windsor Forest Stakes, in 2012.
Last season she won the Group 3 Atlanta Stakes at Sandown and finished the season in the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket where she finished fourth.
