We were delighted to see Cozone win at Sandown yesterday for owners John Connolly and Odile Griffith. Having finished second on his last outing at Kempton on the 1st July, he went one better in the Claygate Handicap and won well under Martin Dwyer. He was slowly away but made headway against the rail from three furlongs out, led inside the final furlong and ran on well to win by over a length. Well done to Thierry Decherf who looks after Cozone at home.
