Lot 1516 Bay colt by Muhaarar – Twilight Spirit (Assertive) 8th February 2020
A strong colt out of a Group 1 winning family full of speed. Muhaarar was Champion 3yo sprinter in Europe in 2015. He won seven races from five to seven furlongs including the Commonwealth Cup Gr 1, Ascot, Darley July Cup Gr 1, Newmarket, Prix Maurice de Gheest, Gr 1, Deauville and Qipco British Champions Sprint Gr 1, Ascot.
Twilight Spirit won over six furlongs and this is her second foal. The second dam Twilight Mistress won three races and produced eight winners from eight runners including Twilight Son rated 117, winner of The Diamond Jubilee Gr 1, Ascot and Haydock Sprint Cup Gr 1, Haydock. Music Master rated 112, a three time winner including the Hackwood Stakes Gr 3 at Newbury and Gr 1 placed and Spring Fling rated 99, a Listed race winner at Ayr.
He is qualified to run in the £150,000 Tattersalls Sales race at Newmarket in October 2022.
