Ridden by Jason Watson, Lightning Charlie won the ‘ABF The Soldiers Charity Handicap’ at Brighton. He settled well in third, closed on the leading pair going well over 2f out, switched to the right when there was little room and took the lead from Wotadoll in the last half furlong to win well. We are delighted for his owners, the Lightning Charlie Partnership and Mark Treadwell who looks after him at home.
Delighted that Spirit Ridge won the Berber Leather Novice Stakes at Catterick for his owner Prince Khalid Abdullah on only his second start. Well done to Kevin Clarke and Neal Tucker who made the five hour trip!
We were pleased to see an article by Nancy Sexton in Wednesday’s Racing Post about the exciting young stallion ANODIN. Nancy spoke to Vincent Rimaud of Haras du Quesnay Stud in Deauville where Anodin has stood since 2015. We have a two year old gelding, JOSHADAM (Anodin x Aunt Julia) who we purchased at the Guineas breeze up sale. He ran a promising race on debut at Ascot in July and there is 100% available for sale in this gelding.
Tinto took the lead entering the final furlong to win the ‘Download The Marathonbet App Nursery Handicap’ at Brighton. Ridden by Jason Watson he won nicely and he should remain competitive as he progresses throughout the season. Delighted for his owners, Derek James, Steve Jenkins and Micheal Quigley.
Port of Call gained his first victory last night when winning the Smarkets Handicap over 7f at Epsom. Ridden by Charlie Bishop, he made all and won comfortably by 1 3/4 legnths. We are thrilled for his owner Alan Spence.

Desert Path gained his second victory last night when winning the Sky Bet Top Price Promise Handicap at Windsor, the course where he had won previously.
